The Las Vegas IREM Chapter is committed to supporting the professional growth of its members through local scholarship opportunities that promote education, leadership, and industry engagement. IREM is committed to helping you reach your professional development goals. Cost doesn't have to be an obstacle.
Penny Tourangeau, CPM® Legacy Scholarship
The Penny Tourangeau, CPM® Legacy Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Penny Tourangeau, a pioneering IREM educator and longtime leader who was deeply committed to professional education, mentorship, and service. As one of the first female IREM instructors, Penny helped shape generations of property management professionals and was a strong supporter of the Las Vegas IREM Chapter. This scholarship was established to continue her legacy by supporting members who demonstrate both professional excellence and meaningful service.
Scholarship Focus:
- IREM members who demonstrate merit and service
- Active involvement in the Las Vegas IREM Chapter
- Commitment to professional growth and education
- One scholarship will be awarded annually for reimbursement of educational expenses related to earning a CPM® designation

PropertyCon: An IREM® Education Experience Scholarship
The Las Vegas IREM Chapter also offers a PropertyCon: An IREM® Education Experience Scholarship, providing local members with the opportunity to attend PropertyCon: An Education Experience, IREM's national education and networking conference.
This scholarship is intended to support members who demonstrate a strong interest in professional development and who would benefit from the education-focused sessions and networking opportunities offered at PropertyCon.
Scholarship Focus:
- Attendence at PropertyCon: An IREM Education Experience
- Professional growth and industry engagement
- Support for conference registration and travel expenses up to an allocated amount

Las Vegas IREM Chapter Educational Scholarship
In addition to the scholarships listed above, the Las Vegas IREM Chapter offers a local educational scholarship to provide financial assistance to individuals interested in furthering their education in the field of property management.
Scholarship Focus:
- Members actively engaged in the Las Vegas IREM Chapter
- Demonstrated commitment to the practice of real estate management
- Coursework offered through Las Vegas Chapter 99 educational programs or online through IREM.org

National Scholarship Opportunities
IREM offers scholarship programs at the national level through the IREM Foundation, designed to help members pursue professional education and advancement towards IREM credential.
IREM Foundation scholarships provide partial tuition assistance from IREM certification courses, including those leading toward the CPM®, ARM®, and ACoM® designations. Eligibility requirements, award amounts, and application criteria are established by the IREM Foundation.
Applicants are encouraged to review national scholarship opportunities directly through the IREM Foundation.
